How to Meditate

First you imagine your self as being Source Energy, or as close as you can get.


Sit cross-legged on the floor or on a meditation pillow or mat. Or sit in an upright chair or an easy chair or on a bed. Or lie down with your back straight or curled in fetal position. Or take a shower or do the dishes or mow the lawn.

Close your eyes or leave them open. Put your attention on the spot between your eyes, the third eye, or on the top of your head, the crown chakra, or the center of your chest, on the heart center, or your navel, or a spot on the wall, or 3 feet behind your head.

You might want to use a sound so that you can resonate with the vibration, like OM, HU, soft music, the sound of the refrigerator, water running through pipes, the noise in your ears, or dragsters burning rubber. You can chant the name of your guide or Abraham or Paul (Communion of Light) or a holy man like Jesus or Allah or Buddha or Krishna or Lao Tsu or Lao Tsi or Chief Joseph or Rami, or Quetzalcoatl.

You can look at a white light or blue light or a garden paradise or a temple of wisdom.

But you should do 20 minutes daily. Or 30 minutes daily. Or 10 minutes daily. Or 3 minutes daily. Or 30 minutes twice a day. Or 10 minutes 3 times a day.

Lastly, you imagine your self as being Source Energy, or as close as you can get.
