I have tried many of the exercises given by both Abraham and Paul (Communion of Light), as well as exercises given by gurus that guarantee that if I follow their plan I’ll be rich. Although some of these exercises were enlightening, none were enough to put me over the edge of conscious creation. They just didn’t work for me. The vibration seemed to stay out there some where.
Yet when I looked at these people and listened to what they said, it was obvious that what they said did work for them. They had found a way to resonate with the energy of money. But when I did their exercises, it was like playing an untuned guitar. The connection was not quite established.
If we are to become conscious creators, then each of us must find a way to make our own connection with Source – or, more precisely, what Abraham calls our vibrational escrow – and to ground it, or make it real. And for each of us, that way will be different. I have seen several examples firsthand: One person I know is very adept at talking himself into alignment. Another is good at visualizing himself at the moment of receiving what he wants. Julie, my wife, needs to feel convinced that what she is wanting can definitely happen (one way or another). I have to take an action that for me creates a situation where I can let the Universe take over responsibility for the outcome.
The way I learned how I personally do it was with some guidance from Paul. Paul asked me when I have had success in creating money that was not a direct result of something I did. I remembered a time 30 years ago when I was a general contractor. Whenever I got low on work, I would go to the marina and put flyers on the fences of the expensive homes there. The act almost never produced jobs directly from the flyers, yet I knew that I would get work from somewhere. And usually before I even got home from passing out the flyers, there would be work waiting.
It is obvious then, that this approach is what worked for me: I need to perform some act to solidify my intent and release the result to the Universe. It is not enough for me to visualize the goal as complete, or to tune into the vibration. My connection to the energy of money is through this specialized, directed action. This action grounds what I want in reality.
You can do this detective work too. Imagine a time when money came to you through a channel you did not expect. It could be that you decided to attend a workshop you didn’t know how you were going to pay for. You needed money for some reason and it miraculously arrived. If you can’t think of an example with money, find a time when something else you wanted manifested.
Examine the process. What about it was what made it real for you, where you knew it was on the way?
