Yeah, I know what you mean. It seems like it is just beyond the horizon. Maybe we should reassemble the think tank.

Hey Chip,

As always I love both your humor and your groundedness! It was a delight to read your email.

It's interesting about finding purpose --for me, I was hell-bent on having my vision, mission, goals defined every year -- starting when I was in corporate world to only a few years ago, that was a core part of my planning. I was very driven and wanted to use my talents in way to help others. I felt a fire to help others value themselves, learning that they do fit in the world, that their past experiences don't limit or define them.

Then I just stopped. I felt no more drive - like I had done what I was supposed to do and now it was time to focus inwards again. It was like a switch turned off. I feel like I am waiting for the next external purpose to become clear to me, but it's turning into a long wait -- LOL!

Thanks for the chance to reflect a bit ... Much love to you and Julie and Minda!

That's the spirit Bill.

BTW: It a parent's obligation to embarrass the heck out of his daughter. I excel at it.

Next time you drive your daughter and her date to the movies, narrate their interactions and put in color commentary.

When I am bored and play card games online or on a Megatouch, I narrate the proceedings as if an intense contest was unfolding between our hero Bill and the fiends on the other side, whether computer controlled-card players like Ben, Michelle, and Pauline ("Hearts," for those of you who don't know); or real players who have superior scores posted, like on "Card Bandits" or "8-Ball"; or just the creators of the game who are always trying to thwart me, like in solo games such as "Spider Solitaire." I'll talk about the reactions of the "fans" as they watch every move--their disappointments and groans, their boos, and, of course, their cheers when their hero makes the right move--but I never go to a commercial break!

Yes, I know this sounds insane. My daughter tells me so. But I did come from a highly dysfunctional family :)

Thanks Chip for sharing with us the step-by-step process that happened in this scenario.

One of the things I really love about Light Tapping is the way in which paying attention to the object and its properties (light, size, dimension, color) is a wonderful bridge into the perception of these issues we have as just being the vibration we hold on each topic. You have developed a great way to capture each vibration and address it with as little pain as possible.

Great stuff, as always!
