How to Donate to Support the Meditation Center
The Second Life economy, at least for facilities, is supported through donations. Etiquette in the real world meditation centers follows suit. Just like in RL (Real Life)the virtual reality center had expenses that translate into real dollars.
This does not mean that you required to drop your whole paycheck into these facilities. Just like a real life donation box, a dollar or two is acceptable.
There are two ways to donate Both located on the sign near the Meditation Circle. Notice the two black buttons at the bottom.
The button on the left will be the way most people will donate because it is easiest. You simple click the sign and choose the amount you want to donate. The quick donate buttons are set to $1 dollar increments, but you may donate any amount from L$1 (1/4 cent)to has much as you want.
Linden dollars are obtained by setting up a paypal or credit card account on the Second Life website. If you spend any time on Second Life you will want to do this. You can start a business or get a second life job, but it takes quite a while to earn any money at 10 to 30 cents an hour. It just makes sense to make your money in RL and convert it to SL dollars. (Although some people have SL businesses that support their RL living expenses.)
The second way to donate is to use Paypal. The Paypal button will bring you back to this page. Simply click on the icon below and follow the instructions to your account. You can donate as little as a dollar.
