What is EFT?

In an Nutshell, EFT, the Emotional Freedom Techniques as presented by Gary Craig, is based on the tenant that all negative emotions are disruptions in the body's energy system. We can release these emotions by focusing our attention on them and tapping on the body's meridian points. Deeper issues where emotions are "repressed" or otherwise relegated to "coping" are resolved by identifying and tapping while focusing on core issues. These core issues can be traumas, multiple traumas, or prolonged exposure to negative conditions.

The movie to the right is a great introduction to EFT.

A good, easy to understand primer is my book, EFT Quick-Start Method. This will help you understand more about how EFT works, and get you started.

Great Explanation of EFT and tapping points
Practitioners of EFT have developed many good techniques for providing relief for physical and emotional pain. Some of these techniques deviate so much from EFT, that a new name was coined by the EFT Masters, Meridian Tapping Techniques. My particular brand of Meridian Tapping is called Light TappingSM.

Meridian Tapping can be used for any instance where emotions play a key role. These can be emotional or physical pain, "issues" (including anxiety and obsession), "blocks", phobias, grief, being stuck, low self-esteem, disease, and depression, among others.
