The following series, "Getting Unstuck," is presented in parts, but is not intended to indicate a series of steps. Finding the "core issues" when a person is stuck, either emotionally or physically, is part of a process. Although some people use the image of peeling an onion to find the core issue, that image is too simplistic. The reality is more like uncovering multi-dimensional jigsaw puzzle pieces, revealing their shape, and spinning them to see how they fit together. Each part of this series will present a clue to help piece the puzzle together and then unlock the puzzle box.
Although every person has a unique situation, after hundreds of cases working with people who are "stuck," I have seen a pattern develop. This series will discuss the pattern, and hopefully create a roadmap for the reader to follow. For the most part, I will use disease as an example of the state of being the most stuck, but you should know that what works for disease also works for being emotionally or financially stuck.
This series is not for beginners, although I will try to present it in such a way as to make it accessible to beginners. Both of my free ebooks, The EFT Quick-Start Method and The Born Loser's Guide to Abundance, provide helpful background for this series.

If we use the Law of Attraction model, all disease, either physical or emotional, starts at the level of vibration. Each of us, as a divine entity, vibrate. Through that vibration we draw to us thoughts in harmony with that vibration, emotions that are in harmony with that vibration, and, eventually, a physical manifestation that is in harmony with that vibration. In some cases, our vibration includes an imbalance, such as resentment, that manifests physically as disease or injury.
Entity–>Vibration–>Thoughts–>Emotions–>manifestation as disease or injury
A group of souls known as Abraham in the works of Esther and Jerry Hicks, tells us that to change from one physical state to another, say disease to health, we need to change our vibration. Abraham recommends changing in small steps, using our emotions as an indicator. Feelings of relief, or feeling a little bit better, tell us we are making the right changes. In Ask and It is Given, Abraham offers techniques or processes to achieve this transformation.
When we get stuck, what we are doing is placing our attention on our pain, and in doing so we recreate our vibration. We form a creation loop where we keep re-creating the vibration that caused the problem in the first place.
Fortunately, EFT is a good tool for reducing the emotional and physical pain, thereby allowing us to escape from the creation loop.
Just as every ailment has a physical cause we can point to, it also has an emotional cause that came first. In a very real sense, emotions are not bad guys. They are like senses guiding us on our journey. Fear tells us there is danger. Anger tells us someone has violated our sense of what is right. Sadness points out our attachments. But when an emotion is sustained or is too intense, we store it beyond our conscious mind to deal with it later. That is, it becomes unconscious, surfacing later when triggered by a similar situation or memory. We either deal with it, or stuff it along with the new similar emotions. When we build up enough stored emotions, something breaks and we get sick or injured. Fortunately, the specific body part that breaks points back to the root emotion. See my article, "How to find the emotion that may be causing the pain".
When the body breaks, it is merely doing its job: pointing out what emotion you must deal with. The longer you put off dealing with this emotion the more insistent it becomes, until you are dealing with in-your-face pain. Traditional talk therapy does not necessarily release the emotion like EFT does, rather it helps us cope. Unfortunately, it can also magnify our focus on the problem, bringing more pain and manifestation into our lives, now or later.
To permanently release an emotion requires some form of energy therapy such as EFT, or a true shift in your vibration to create a new reality.
When you break the cycle and create a new vibration with EFT, you eliminate the emotional and physical pain, you identify and reprogram the mental processes to break out of the pain cycle, and you shift your attention to how you choose to feel.
Shifting your attention to how you want to feel is all-important, because this step creates the new vibration.
With this framework in mind, we will start our exploration process.
